Saddle Lake Chief & Council will base their Nationhood through Treaties established by om forefathers including the retention of lands, culture and language as the foundation of the Cree Nation. The strength of Nationhood will focus on developing the youth to become good leaders and the economic development will be a priority so that members of Saddle Lake will be healthy and independent individuals.
The Saddle Lake Reinvestment & Training Program is committed to working together with the members by sharing and maximizing resources that will enhance self sufficiency by providing assistance and support to acquire educational levels to pursue further training and employment
1. Application must be in by June 30 for september intake. October 31 for January intake.
2. Other Applications must be submitted six (6) weeks prior to start date

❖ Enrolled in full time Adult Academic Upgrading Studies
❖ Pathways to employment
❖ Must be a member of the Saddle Lake Cree Nation #125, for whom funding was requested and received from the Department of Indian Affairs, excluding a member of Whitefish Lake First Nation. Both parents of the member must have full treaty status.
❖A Saddle Lake Cree Nation member, with full status, who is currently experiencing barriers that cause them to be unemployable in today's ever-changing economy and who requires special consideration to obtain sponsorship in preparation for labor market training or further education
❖Member must be 19 years of age and out of school for one year.
Require 3 courses per term.
