1763 – Royal Proclamation Signed (King George III)

1862 – Missionary John McDougal arrived in Saddle Lake (Kehkek is Headman)

1867 – The Dominion of Canada is created

1870 – Headman Onchaminahos “Little Hunter”

1876 – Indian Act is created

(Con’t) – Treaty No. 6 was signed at Fort Pitt and Fort Carlton (Signed by Onchaminahos and Kehkek)

1902 – Completed legal land amalgamation (Blue Quills, Saddle Lake, Waskatenaw, and Whitefish)

1914 – World War I Begins

1918 – World War I Ends

1925 – Saddle Lake Land Surrender (Chief Thomas Makokis)

1931 – Blue Quills Residential School is moved and made by St. Paul

1932 – Pass System enforced by Indian Agents

1935 – World War II Begins (Soldiers: Joe Arthur Cardinal, Joe P. Cardinal, Joseph Houle, Herbert Steinhauer, Mark Steinhauer, William Steinhauer, Lawrence Steinhauer  and Clifford Wood)

1939 – Indian Association of Alberta is Created

1945 – World War II Ends

1951 – Saddle lake Band Hall started constructed (Alex Crier/ kacik)

1952 – Indian Agent moved office to St. Paul (Saddle lake office used for welfare forms)

1953 – Saddle Lake Band Hall Completed

1963 – Electricity was Introduced to Saddle Lake
