POSITION OVERVIEW: The Saddle Lake Wahkohtowin Society is committed to ongoing improvement and pursuit of excellence in services to children, youth and families. The Casework Practice Models builds on the evolution to-date and the ongoing evolution of casework practice and directions provided by the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act (CYFE Act).
The Supervisor position is required to oversee the PMSS Workers and maintain the PMSS Office and staff. The Supervisor will ensure and be responsible to delegate work duties that is required to be performed in a timely, diligent and accurate manner. The Supervisor will ensure quality service delivery and case management to the team through supervision and data management.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION/SKILL:
Manage an organizational unit including supervising staff and training staff.
Resources key contacts to families, as they engage the community for formal and informal supports,
Possess computer skills and knowledge of general software applications.
Responsible for monitoring and processing of the invoices and purchase orders; ensure correct codes are identified on the cheque requisitions.
Data Input – Computer
Ensuring the client file documentation and necessary written reports and records are completed by staff.
Improving staff performance and retention through supervision and staff management.
Perform inventory checks and/or audits
Be available for after-hours supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS:
The Person must possess the following:
Must be a delegated Worker.
Minimum diploma in Social Work
Valid Driver’s License
Minimum of one (2) year of preferably in Child & Family Services environment.
Mandatory requirements: CRIM Check, CYIM Check (Intervention Record Check)

Salary will be commensurate with education and experience. Employment to commence once interviews and clearances are complete.
