FNDF - Saddle Lake Cree Nation

SLCN-FN DF program provides the administration, documentation, and appIication of Government of Alberta-FNDF (GoA-FNDF) lottery funds for SLCN-Chief and CounciI approved proposals and submissions received from community programs and the general SLCN membership.

The GoA-FNDF Grant Program was developed for and by First Nations and the Government of AB as part of the First Nations Gaming Policy. Funds are derived from a percentage of revenues from government-owned slot machines in casinos located within five First Nations (FNs) in AB and distributed annually to the remaining FNs of AB.

Since 2006, when the program began, SLCN-FNDF program has helped process funding support for economic, social, and community development projects for members of Saddle Lake Cree Nation.
